Family Fun Day & Picnic 2007 |
Fantastic day of fun, food, drink, music and merriment
see you all again next year. Thanks for coming... |

Some Cricket Action |
Certain
sections of this smorgasbord of photography may lead
the viewer to believe that the LNCC exists primarily
as a forum for its members to drink, dance and generally
indulge in what might be termed as “miliki”.
This would obviously be a misconception, our core activity
is of course playing the game and here we have the evidence
to prove it… |

Kenny finally gets married.... |
And the
LNCC were there in force to mark the joyous occasion.
I am not sure if the new Mrs Adeoye is a keen follower
of the game, but I am sure that she is brushing up on
the definitions of “googly” and “chinaman”
as I write… |

LNCC @ Lord's Album 1 |
This
our cameraman is very wicked. Once again I must point
out that the sole purpose of our weekly winter visits
to the Indoor School at the home of cricket is to sharpen
our techniques and hone our skills. The pictures containing
images of bottles, glasses, tankards etc. containing
fluids that at first glance appear to be alcoholic in
nature are purely a result of photographic coincidences
or perhaps indeed “film trick”… |

Naija Tour 2000 |
Shots
of our inaugural tour of Lagos. Check out Tade with
short hair, question whether Wale needs so much sun-block
and ponder why Maurice is never in his cricket whites…. |

Chairman's Dinner 2005 |
Down
to the Hawker Centre in Kingston for the 2005 edition.
All star line up including comedienne Gina Yashere and
musicians Josh Tosh and his SoundModule combo. Mike
G outdoes his 2004 outfit with this electric red number… |

Chairman's Dinner 2004 |
Up to North London for the
2004 event. Highlights include Mike G’s purple suit
and Kede’s panama hat… |

Chairman's Dinner 2003 |
Held
at the Commonwealth Institute in Kensington. Look out
for Tade wearing the shiniest jacket in history (until
Mike G came along) and a special guest appearance by
Tunde Aiyegbusi of the London Nigerian Rugby Football
Club… |

LNCC Dinner Party 2004 |
The Amadeus
centre was the venue for our biggest social event to
date. DJs, drummers, traditional dancers, pianists were
all in attendance, as well as a special guest appearance
by Dele Sosimi. Some of us still haven’t recovered… |

Bastille Day 2006 |

LNCC Family Fun Day 2006 |
A chance
for all our families to see what we get up to on a Sunday
afternoon. Observe the technique of Kevin’s daughter,
I don’t think she learnt that from her Dad, and
note how FMC gallantly goes out of his way to explain
the intricacies of the game to the lovely Louisa… |

Very Old Nigerian Cricket Pictures |
Either cricket has a long
history in Nigeria, or there is something wrong with Tade’s
camera. You decide… |
 |

|
More Pictures |
Watch
out, watch out there is a Nigerian Cricketer about.
Whether it is in the pavilion of your local cricket
club, in the Hideout, D’Den or Q-Bar, or in your
local corner shop, if you look carefully you will spot
one of us around town… |
